Feeling pretty strongly about the latest hot topic buzzing the community? Before you fire off that letter to the editor, there are a few things that can be considered.

As citizens we have the obligation to inform ourselves and avoid innuendos implied by elaborate games of partisan “telephone” that distort truth.
America is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Our nation’s race toward a more perfect union is sometimes uphill with a severe headwind and cold rain. We sometimes seem to be down on the side of the road with excruciating cramps, unable to even think about completing the race.

In this season of giving, I have noticed a lot of “paying it forward” going on. Recently, I was blessed with someone buying my lunch and the cashier stated that the anonymous person asked me to pay it forward.
Recently on the Almanac television show that is broadcast across Minnesota, Winona LaDuke made many offensive claims. Several are so offensive that they should not be shared.
Does the influx of letters supporting Line 3 jobs mean we’re willing to sacrifice other jobs for these few?
