YOUTH BASEBALL: Northern Heat sendoff on Wednesday night

BEMIDJI - The Bemidji Northern Heat 10-year-olds will embark on their journey to Jonesboro, Ark., for the Cal Ripken Baseball World Series on Wednesday.
Fans can wish the Northern Heat 10s luck as they meet at Mark Evanson Memorial Fields at 8:15 p.m., board the bus at 8:45 p.m. and take off for the World Series at 9 p.m.
The bus will head down 197 to the south end of Bemidji.
The team will start the tournament at 3 p.m. Saturday when it plays host Jonesboro to start American Division play.
