Bemidji State women’s hockey forward Clair DeGeorge has been named to the 2018 U.S. Women’s National Team Evaluation Camp roster. The camp will take place Sept. 13-17 at the Harold Alfond Forum on the campus of the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.

The sophomore was one of 23 Western Collegiate Hockey Association players selected to the 37-player roster. Eighteen of those players won gold medals at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

The camp will be utilized to evaluate player progression and provide training guidelines as players prepare for upcoming opportunities with the U.S. Women's National Team. Players will be split into two teams and participate in three intrasquad scrimmages as part of the camp.

DeGeorge, a native of Anchorage, Alaska, tied for third on the Beavers with 23 points (7g, 16a) during her freshman season in 2017-18.
