Bemidji State’s Stephanie Anderson is getting another chance to play for her country. The senior forward is one of 83 players invited to participate in the 2015 USA Hockey Women’s National Festival, scheduled for Aug. 11-16 at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, N.Y.
Anderson, who played for Team USA at the IIFF Women’s World Championships in Malm', Sweden, earlier this season, is competing for a chance to play in 4 Nations tournament in November. Anderson, from North St. Paul, was an assistant captain for the Beavers in 2014-15 and will return as one of the leaders for BSU this season. She led the team with 14 goals and had 10 assists and was second on the team with 24 points.
