MORTON -- The Bemidji State women’s golf team finished seventh out of 12 teams when the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships concluded Sunday at the Dacotah Ridge Golf Club in Morton.
The Beavers carded a team score of 1,043 (348-337-358) at the 54-hole tournament. Minnesota State Mankato claimed the team title with a score of 952 (309-326-317), 33 strokes ahead of second-place Augustana.
Lauren Stockmoe led BSU by posting a 255 (80-81-94) to place 23rd individually. She was followed by Kalley Wagner in 24th (86-86-84--256), Elise Stockmoe in 27th (88-82-91--261), Taylor Ellingson in a tie for 38th (96-89-89--274) and Erica Gartner in 43rd (94-88-96--278).
The Mavericks’ Abbe Partington took home the individual title by finishing the weekend with a 235 (77-81-77).
