BEMIDJI - Aimee Pelzer had 17 points and Tatum Sheley added 14 Tuesday night to lead Bemidji Stateto an 83-44 win over Northland College.
The victory extends the Beavers’ undefeated streak to four games as they approach their Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference schedule.
The Beavers had a 44-23 rebounding advantage on the Lumberjills (1-2), with Hanna Zerr and Katie Miller each grabbing five rebounds apiece.
Allison Cordesa added three assists, four rebounds and eight points for BSU.
Bethany Best led Northland with 12 points.
BSU also finished the night going 34-of-62 (54-8 percent) from the floor, including 7-of-15 (46.7 percent) performance from beyond the arc.
BSU opens NSIC play Saturday at Minnesota Crookston. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. at Lysaker Gymnasium.
