BEMIDJI -- Poor playing conditions from a long winter have led to more schedule changes for Bemidji High School and Bemidji State teams.
The BSU softball team team will now face Northern State at 1 p.m. today in a home doubleheader that had previously been scheduled for Sunday, April 7. Today’s twinbill, along with Saturday’s 1 p.m. doubleheader against Minnesota State Moorhead, will now be played at Chet Anderson Stadium.
The Beaver baseball team will have to wait a little longer to play its true home opener. The team’s scheduled three-game set against Sioux Falls has been moved to Sioux Falls, S.D., with a doubleheader set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6, and a single game for noon Sunday.
The Lumberjack softball team’s season-opening road game against Chisago Lakes has been moved up a day from Saturday to today. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
Bemidji’s April 9 home softball game against Cloquet has been pushed back two hours to 6:30 p.m. and will now be played at the Chet.

The BHS track and field team’s Saturday meet at North Dakota State has been canceled.
Snow on the Grand Rapids and Crookston courts have postponed the Bemidji boys tennis team’s road matches on Monday and Tuesday, April 8-9. Official makeup dates have not yet been announced.
