VOLLEYBALL: Beavers swept by No. 4 Northern State

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Bemidji State volleyball team fell to No. 4 Northern State 3-0 (25-28, 25-26, 25-12) Friday night.
The Beavers (6-20, 4-13 NSIC) were led by junior Jessica Yost, who posted her eighth double-double of the season 13 kills and 13 digs.
BSU was out-hit in the match by the conference leading Wolves (23-2, 15-2 NSIC) .484 to .165 and NSU had just five attacking errors to BSU’s 16.
Senior Ashley Kiecker led BSU with 26 assists, and Kayla DeJong made eight digs.
The Beavers will continue their road trip today at Minnesota State Moorhead.
