VOLLEYBALL: Beavers add three recruits for 2019

BEMIDJI -- Bemidji State volleyball head coach Kevin Ulmer announced on Tuesday the addition of Meeghen Dahlager, Ashley East and Rylee Pompa to the team's 2019 roster.

BEMIDJI -- Bemidji State volleyball head coach Kevin Ulmer announced on Tuesday the addition of Meeghen Dahlager, Ashley East and Rylee Pompa to the team’s 2019 roster.

Dahlager, a native of Granite Falls, is a four-time letterwinner for the Yellow Medicine East High School volleyball program and a five-time letterwinner for the school’s basketball and track programs. She helped guided the Sting to a 19-6 record and a Section 3A tournament appearance in 2018. Dahlager was a member of the SWMNVB AAU team that won the 18-club National Championship in 2018.

East, a native of McFarland, Wis., is an eight-time letterwinner at McFarland High School. She was named All-Wisconsin Second Team in 2018 as she helped lead the Spartans to a 26-9 record and an appearance at the WIAA Sectional Final.

Pompa, a native of Elgin, Ill., is a letterwinner for South Elgin High School’s volleyball and dance teams. She helped the Spartans set the school record in wins her senior season as they advanced to the regional finals.
