The Bemidji State women's hockey team returns home this weekend after a rough road series against No. 3 Minnesota.

The Gophers swept the series with 4-0 and 8-3 wins However, the Beavers (10-4-2 overall, 7-4-1 WCHA) are still off to one of their best-ever starts in program history. They're ranked No. 6 in the country and are still third in the conference standings with 22 points. BSU will host Minnesota State this weekend. The Mavericks are winless in conference play at 0-10-0 and have two wins against out-of-conferences foes Union and RIT.
