The Bemidji State men's hockey team beat Alaska Fairbanks 6-3 on Saturday night, snapping a seven-game winless streak and earning their first WCHA win in the process.

The Bemidji State men's hockey team beat Alaska Fairbanks 6-3 on Saturday night, snapping a seven-game winless streak and earning their first WCHA win in the process.

It was the first career victory for goaltender Reid Mimmack, a junior from Brainerd.Mimmack was supported by six different goal scorers; while 13 different Beavers registered at least a point in the scoring column.The Beavers, who improved to 2-5-2 overall and 1-4-1 in the WCHA, host Lake Superior State next weekend.
