Trout Unlimited to hold fly-tying class Dec. 14

BEMIDJI -- Trout Unlimited Headwaters Chapter 642 will host a free fly tying class on Thursday, Dec. 14, at Garden Pub and Grill, 111 Central Ave. SE. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with dinner and set-up. The tying will then take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event is open to the public. Jeff Korbel will tie a double bunny leach pattern with the intermediate and advanced students. Bob Wagner will tie a bead head sparkly wooly bugger with beginners. Materials will be available. A voluntary donation is acceptable, a press release said. Those who need to reserve equipment should call Wagner at (218) 766- 7757.
