MOORHEAD -- Coley Rezabek captured her first career event win Saturday as the Bemidji State track and field team finished second at the Ron Masanz Classic in Moorhead. Rezabek set a personal record with her javelin throw of 129 feet, 2 inches, one of 14 personal-record marks set by the Beavers during the meet.
In addition to Rezabek, 11 BSU athletes claimed top-five finishes including second-place finishes by Zoe Christensen in the shot put (45-9), Kristen Petron in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (12:07.40) and the 4x100m relay team (48.16).
As a team, BSU finished second with 78 points at the meet hosted by Minnesota State Moorhead.
