Bemidji swimmers fall short to Duluth
BEMIDJI -- The Bemidji High School boys swimming and diving team fell 111-65 to Duluth in a dual meet Thursday.
Sam Hendricks captured a win in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.41 to best his Lumberjack teammate Gabe Goodwin by two seconds.
Hendricks and Goodwin, along with Nikita Graves and Luke Yartz, also swam to a victory in the 400 freestyle relay in a time of 3:40.76.
The Lumberjacks will have two weeks to gear up for the Section 5A meet hosted by Alexandria Feb. 23-24.
