HIBBING -- The Bemidji High School boys swimming and diving team had 11 top-10 finishes at the Hibbing Invitational on Saturday, earning sixth place out of eight teams with 199 points.
Senior Cameron Munter and junior Sam Hendricks led the way with third place finishes, with Munter scoring 396.3 points in the diving portion of the meet and Hendricks posting a 1:57.56 in the 200 freestyle.
Hendricks also finished sixth in the 500 freestyle (5:23.3), while Luke Yartz matched it with sixth in the 200 freestyle (1:59.39). The duo also teamed up with Gabe Goodwin and Nikita Graves for sixth in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays, finishing with times of 1:39.62 and 3:36.0, respectively.
Duluth East took first place in the meet with 477 points.
The Lumberjacks are back in the pool at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, when they host Duluth East at BHS.
