BEMIDJI -- Bemidji State head softball coach Rick Supinski is on a leave of absence from the university, according to school spokesman Andy Bartlett.

Bartlett, the university’s executive director of communications and marketing, said Supinski’s leave of absence is a “personnel matter” and couldn’t comment further.
Supinski was hired to be the 18th head coach of the BSU softball program prior to the 2012 season. He has compiled a record of 114-171 over seven seasons as head coach.
