SOFTBALL: Bemidji State bags 4 on national signing day

The Bemidji State softball team announced the signings of four players from the class of 2022 Thursday, signifying the first recruiting class for new head coach Jordan Petersen.

BEMIDJI -- The Bemidji State softball team announced the signings of four players from the class of 2022 Thursday, signifying the first recruiting class for new head coach Jordan Petersen.

The signees are utility player Aubrey Aukerman (Delton, Mich.), catcher/second baseman Morgan Benedict (Farmington), outfielder Grace Gumiela (Chicago) and utility player Elle Hastings (Hawley).

The players will join the Beavers ahead of the 2022-23 season.
