BEMIDJI -- Bemidji State head soccer coach Jim Stone announced Monday the hiring of Michael Korman as the team’s new assistant coach.
Korman most recently served as an evaluator for Sport Contact USA, a collegiate soccer-specific recruiting service. He had previously been an assistant coach/goalkeeper coach for the men’s team at Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Ind., and a men’s assistant coach at Millikin University in Decatur, Ill.
Korman played goalkeeper at Saint Joseph’s and graduated with a degree in sport management in 2012.
Korman replaces Ryszard Gorski, who left BSU after two seasons to become head women’s soccer coach at Northern State.
