BEMIDJI -- Excessive snowfall has forced even more changes to spring sports schedules.

The Bemidji State softball team has relocated its home doubleheaders with Upper Iowa and Winona State. The Beavers will now face the Peacocks at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 14, in Fayette, Iowa. On Monday, April 15, BSU will head to Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa, to play the No. 17 Warriors, starting at noon.

The Bemidji State baseball team has scratched a three-game series with Southwest Minnesota State due to the snow. The set was originally on tap for Saturday and Sunday, but snow covering the BSU baseball field has forced the cancelation. The series will not be rescheduled.

The Beavers track and field team will have an impromptu bye week, as well, as Saturday's Al Bortke Open in Bismarck, N.D., has been canceled.

At the high school level, the Bemidji softball team’s home game on Monday, April 15, against Hibbing has been postponed. A makeup date is still to be determined.
