Sartell-Sauk Rapids upset North Wright County 6-2 Tuesday in the Section 8-2A girls hockey semifinals and will meet Roseau 7 p.m. Friday at the Bemidji Community Arena.
The championship game was slated for a neutral venue and Bemidji was the preferred travel site for Sartell and Roseau.
Bemidji's boys hockey team has a home game Friday but it is at the Sanford Center against Thief River Falls. The BCA is available, however, and Section 8 officials decided to take advantage of that facility.
Sartell-SR, the No. 4 seed, defeated No. 5 Bemidji 4-1 in Saturday's quarterfinals and Tuesday it downed top-seeded North Wright County.
Roseau, the No. 2 seed, opened with a 5-0 win over No. 7 River Lakes and Tuesday the Rams blanked No. 3 Moorhead 6-0.

Friday's winner will represent Section 8-2A at the state tournament.
