BOYS GOLF: Bemidji finishes 2nd in season debut at Stillwater invite

The Bemidji High School boys golf team got its season off to a good start in Stillwater on Monday, finishing second at the Stillwater invite with a team score of 322 and placing two players in the top four – plus a third in the top 10.

STILLWATER – The Bemidji High School boys golf team got its season off to a good start in Stillwater on Monday, finishing second at the Stillwater invite with a team score of 322 and placing two players in the top four – plus a third in the top 10.

Ryan Daman tied for second with a score of 77, while Nick Yavarow tied for fourth with a 78. Eli Tuomala finished in a tie for eighth with a 79.

Other competitors for the Lumberjacks included Carter Fish (88, T-28th), Nick Carlson (93, T-41) and Seyoung Son (93, T-41).

Stillwater’s Eric Liveringhouse carded a 75 to win top individual honors. Stillwater claimed the team crown with a score of 317, with Bemidji and Spring Lake Park (328) rounding out the top three.

The Jacks return to the links for the Minnewaska invite starting at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, in Glenwood.
