BEMIDJI – The Bemidji High School baseball team will start its 2022 section run at home.

The Lumberjacks were named the No. 4 seed in the Section 8-4A Tournament bracket released Friday and will host No. 5 Moorhead at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, at the BSU baseball field.

The winner of that game will advance to face the winner of top-seeded St. Michael-Albertville and either No. 8 Buffalo or No. 9 St. Cloud, the two participants of the section play-in game. The winners’ matchup will be played at the high seed.

Win or lose, Bemidji’s second game will start at 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, at a site to be determined. The section tournament is double-elimination aside from the single-elimination play-in game.

Elsewhere in the bracket, No. 2 Rogers will host No. 7 Brainerd, and No. 3 Elk River will host No. 6 Sartell-St. Stephen.
