Minnesota State Moorhead outlasted Bemidji State 3-2 Friday night in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference volleyball at the BSU Gymnasium.

The Dragons won by scores of 14-25, 25-11, 26-24, 27-29, 15-13 in one of the closest matches of the season for both teams.

Bemidji State fell to 5-12 in the NSIC while Moorhead improved to 9-8.

Nicole Olson led the Beavers with 20 kills, while teammate Bethany Thompson added 13. Jessi-Beth McCannell had 50 assists in the loss.

Bemidji State will host Minnesota-Crookston today at 4 p.m. in another NSIC matchup.
