MUSKOGEE, Okla. -- Ian Mackenzie-Olson paced the Bemidji State men’s golf team to 15th place at the NSU Golf Classic in Muskogee, Okla. The sophomore carded a 1 under par 212 (67-72-73) to tie for 17th individually.
Brennan Hockman shot five-over par (70-75-73=218) while Matthew Gregg (73-74-77=224), Cody Cook (74-83-78=235) and Brandon Nelson (78-76-86=240) rounded out the Beavers’ scoring. Chris Swenson and Tanner Sperling competed as individuals with Swenson posting 218 (73-67-78) and Sperling 222 (74-72-76).
Lindenwood clinched the team title by 15 strokes with a team score of 831 (278-275-278).
The Beavers travel next week to the JR Watkins Northern Regional held at the Jewel Golf Course in Lake City.
