Knights of Columbus free throw contest set for Jan. 30

The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is returning to Bemidji this winter.

BEMIDJI -- The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is returning to Bemidji this winter.

The competition runs from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 30, at the St. Philip’s Catholic School gym and is open to all boys and girls from ages 9-14. The school is located at 702 Beltrami Ave. NW.

Plaques will be awarded to the winners, and the winners are also eligible to advance to the district competition. From there, participants can qualify for the region and state competitions.
