ONTARIO, Calif. -- Bemidji State senior forward Kyle Bauman has signed a contract to join the Ontario Reign, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, for the rest of the 2017-18 season.

The Reign currently sports a 27-19-4-2 record, good for fourth in the Pacific Division with 15 games left in the regular season before the start of the Calder Cup Playoffs.

Bauman could make his debut as soon as Friday, when Ontario takes on the San Diego Gulls.
