BEMIDJI -- Perham edged out the Bemidji High School gymnastics team on Thursday, sneaking out on top 141.9-138.6 at the Gym Bin in Bemidji.

Jada Olson swept the night away for the Yellowjackets, placing in first in each event for an all-around score of 37.475. Olson finished with a 9.6 on the vault, a 9.55 on the uneven bars, an 8.875 on the balance beam, and a 9.45 on the floor exercise.

Tatum Offerdahl led the Lumberjacks with an all-around of 36.125, making for a second-place finish. Offerdahl grabbed top-five spots in each event, including second in the bars at 9.425. She also claimed a tie for third on the floor (9), fourth on the vault (9.1) and fifth on the beam (8.6).

Additionally for BHS, Lauren Lundquist finished fifth in the all-around with a 34.3. Her 9.15 score on the vault was good for third, and she also tied Offerdahl for third with a floor routine score of 9, as well.

Other top-five finishers for Bemidji included Mady Schmidt and Tara Tesch, who tied for fourth on bars (8.55), Leah Lucas (fifth on the floor, 8.85) and Sophie Morin (fifth on vault, 8.9).

The Jacks will return to action at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, when they host Detroit Lakes at the Gym Bin.
