BHS gymnasts break school record
FARGO, N.D. -- The Bemidji High School gymnastics team set a new school record by posting a team score of 140.65 Friday night at the Davies Invite in Fargo, N.D. The previous record score for the Lumberjacks had been 140 before this year’s team eclipsed the old mark.
Tatum Offerdahl recorded the best all-around score for BHS by posting a 36.6. Other all-around scores for Bemidji included Lauren Lundquist (35.75), Mady Schmidt (33.85) and Sophie Morin (33.5). Leah Lucas also competed but did not record an all-around score.
Fargo Davies and Fargo also competed at the meet but did not post an official team score due to an issue with the judges.
The Lumberjack gymnasts will return to competition with a meet at Detroit Lakes on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 6 p.m.
