GYMNASTICS: Bemidji Aerials take on Jamestown Invite

JAMESTOWN, N.D. -- The Bemidji Aerials were back in action for the Jamestown Invitational last weekend.

Mariah Fox led the Silver Xcel team with an all-around score of 36.55. Eliana Ekre followed with a 36.4, Lola Wesley with a 36.3, Amelia Benso with a 36.0 and Kiana Ellingson with a 35.45.

Benso’s performance also met the state qualifying score, her first time doing so this season.

Kaitlyn Workman led those in Level 4 with a 34.6 all-around, while Kasey Stenseth (34.0), Cameron Roff (33.3) and Isabella Reierson (33.2) followed suit.

Level 5 gymnast Lauren Bruley had a 34.0 all-around score, while Kennedy Olson tallied a 33.525. Level 7 gymnast Aubrey DeWitt scored a 35.475 in the all-around, as well.

Next up for the Aerials is a competition on March 8-10 in Fargo, N.D., which serves as the finale of the regular season.
