FARGO - The Bemidji Aerials gymnastics team competed at the “Flippin in the Fall” meet hosted by American Gold Gymnastics of Fargo last weekend.
Of the Level 3 gymnasts who participated, Adrianna Underwood led her team with an all-around score of 36.2. Emma Mutnansky finished the meet with a 35.1, Addi Lundberg with a 33.65, Taylor Hanks a 33.55 and Aurora Frank a 33.1.
Heading the Level 4 team was Alivia Thompson, who tied for third place on the floor with an 8.9 and an all-around finish of 33.7. Aubrey Dewitt was also third on the floor and finished the meet with a 33.5 overall. Other competitors were Kali Allen with a 32.9, Keira Penner with a 32.7, Chloe Workman with a 32.5 and Nile Fayette with a 32.25, which allows her to join her other teammates at the state meet in December. Regan McCarthy finished with a 31.2. The Level 4 team took home a second-place trophy.
Level 5 competitors included Keana Gulmon who lead her team with a 33.75 all-around finish, Makenna Brown with a 33.525, and Allison Lillquist with a 32.65.
In the XCEL Bronze Division, Maki Westerman lead with a 36.65. Kasey Stenseth had a 35.9, Kennedy Olson with a 35.7, both Hayden Pirkl and Sadie Sperle finished the meet with a 35.4, Tatiana Wright with a 34.55 and Kaitlyn Workman closed the meet with a 32.55.
The XCEL Silver leader was Adair Wizner with an all-around score of 36.75. Both Abby Strandlie and Gwen Galloway finished with a 35.55, Ridley Karger with a 35.15, and Emily Skime with a 34.3. The Silver team took home the first-place team trophy.
The girls that participated in the XCEL Gold division were Kayla DeWitt, who took third place on both vault and floor, and finished with a 35.25. Sophie Perreault finishing with a 34.05.
Next for the Aerials is a meet in Virginia on Nov. 21.
