BEMIDJI -- The Bemidji State women’s golf team was picked to finish 10th in the NSIC this season after collecting 45 points when the preseason coaches’ poll was released Thursday.

Sophomore Lauren Stockmoe was named BSU’s Golfer to Watch.

Nine-time defending NSIC champion Augustana was the unanimous pick to win the NSIC, receiving all 11 first-place votes (coaches cannot vote for their own team) and 121 points to finish ahead of Minnesota State, which tallied 111 points and the other first-place vote. Sioux Falls was third with 88 points while Southwest Minnesota State was fourth with 79 points.

Augustana's Hannah Hankinson was voted NSIC Women's Golf Preseason Golfer of the Year.
