The Bemidji High girls basketball team had no problems with overmatched Cold Spring Rocori Saturday afternoon, spilling the Spartans 65-47 in the opener of a girls-boys twin bill.
It left Bemidji at 21-1 entering its final week of play. It travels to Detroit Lakes Tuesday and returns home to host Grand Rapids Thursday night to end the regular year.
Rocori fell for the 2oth time in 24 starts.
It was never in the game as Bemidji vaulted to a 9-0 lead, and widened it to 38-13 at the half,
It was 58-24 when the starters began leaving for the day with the visitors outscoring the reserves 23-7 down the stretch to make the final more respectable.

Forward Jordan Hansen had 19 of the losers points including 11 of their 13 in the first half.
"That was our best first half of the year," said Coach Rick Kehoe. "We strive every game to hold an opponent under 20 at the break. But this is the lowest total we have had.."
Rocori was doomed at the start with a starting five that went 5-10, 5-9, 5-8, 5-4 and 5-3.
Bemidji used its size advantage at every position to wreak havoc though the tight Rocori zone shut down the Bemidji running game for the most part.
Bemidji hit only three treys, mw two by Weimann, but made many baskets on second efforts off offensive rebounds.
Hirt found room inside the zone to get a number of her baskets, many on great individual efforts.
Bemidji came within one point of starting running time twice in the second half at 55-21 and 58-24,
