BEMIDJI -- Former Bemidji State football offensive lineman Jake Krause will take part in the University of Minnesota’s Pro Day Wednesday, March 28, at the program’s new indoor practice facility in Minneapolis. The offensive guard will aim to continue his football career in front of NFL scouts.
Krause, a native of Wadena, was named to several post-season teams following his senior season in 2017. He was just the third player in program history to be named to the D2Football.com All-America Team after being chosen to the honorable mention squad in January. Krause was also a member of the 2017 Don Hansen All-Super Region Three Team, 2017 All-NSIC First Team, 2017 Academic All-NSIC Team and the winner of the 2017 NSIC Glen Galligan Award, given to a student-athlete who participates at his institution for four years and is academically superior while making a positive contribution to the institution.
