BEMIDJI -- Three members of the Bemidji State football team’s “Gang Green” defense will finish their senior seasons at the FCS Bowl in Daytona Beach, Fla., this Sunday, Dec. 10.
Seniors Niko Daniello, Trysten Ross and Jake Wirsching will each represent the Beavers on the National Team (Blue).
Daniello, a linebacker from Addison, Ill., and All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference First Team Defense selection, started all 11 games at inside linebacker while leading the team with 82 total tackles.
Ross, a linebacker from Little Falls, and All-NSIC Second Team Defense member, ranked third on BSU with 59 tackles after starting all 11 games.
Wirsching, a defensive lineman from Waterford, Wis., and All-NSIC Honorable Mention selection, started all 11 games for BSU and ranked eighth on the team with 43 tackles.

The FCS Bowl is an annual postseason college football all-star game consisting of top players from FCS and HBCU schools. The game showcases All-American and All Conference seniors from around the nation that travel to the game from over 30 states representing over 100 schools.
The game is scheduled to kickoff at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10, at Daytona Beach Stadium.
