BADGER -- After nasty thunderstorms across northwest Minnesota forced their game to be postponend on Saturday, the Bagley Flyers traveled back to Badger about 48 hours later for their season opener against Badger-Greenbush-Middle River.
The Flyers got off to a great start, as they beat the Gators 36-6 Monday.
Bagley (0-1) rolled past BGMR (0-1), scoring the first 30 points of the game, including 24 in the second quarter.
The Gators finally got on the scoreboard with a touchdown in the third quarter but failed to convert the point after pass.
The Flyers were led by Walker Cage, had 100 yards rushing on 12 carried and scored two touchdowns. Fullback Ben Thoma added two more touchdowns, and ran 18 times for 54 yards. Quarterback Ty Rollefson added the other Flyer touchdown, an 8-yard run in the first quarter. Rollefson went 5-for-9 passing for 70 yards.

Bagley travels to Pillager at 7 p.m. Friday.
