Firearms safety class to be held in Turtle River

TURTLE RIVER -- A firearms safety course begins at New Salem Lutheran Church in Turtle River. It runs every Tuesday from tonight until Oct. 2, with a day at the gun range wrapping up the course on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

TURTLE RIVER -- A firearms safety course begins at New Salem Lutheran Church in Turtle River. It runs every Tuesday from tonight until Oct. 2, with a day at the gun range wrapping up the course on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

The class is 6-9 p.m., instructed by Howard Schultz. Students must be at least 11 years of age to take the class, which is limited to 30 students.

The course costs $7 per student. Registration for this evening’s course begins at 5:30 p.m., and a parent must have their student’s birth certificate and attend the first 30 minutes of class.
