WOMEN’S SOCCER: Megan Dahl signs with new club Minnesota Aurora FC

Dahl is the sixth player to sign with the club, which will begin its inaugural season on May 26.

BEMIDJI – New soccer club Minnesota Aurora FC announced its signing of Bemidji State women’s soccer senior Megan Dahl to a contract on Monday. Dahl is the sixth player to sign with the club, which will begin its inaugural season on May 26.

Dahl, a captain of BSU’s 2021 squad, anchored a Beavers backline that helped the team reach the third round of the Division II NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament, its furthest progression in program history.

A native of Rosemount, Dahl was named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches.

Minnesota Aurora FC is a member of the newly formed United Soccer League Women’s League that was announced on June 8, 2021. Dahl joins Sarah Fuller, Kristele Yewah, Makenzie Langdok, Morgan Turner and Jelena Zbilic as players who have committed to the club for the upcoming season.

The USL W League is a pre-professional women’s soccer league set to kick off in May 2022.


Minnesota Aurora FC will play its home games at TCO Stadium in Eagan, beginning on Thursday, May 26, against the Green Bay Glory.
