BEMIDJI -- The Bemidji State women’s volleyball team reached the finish line on Saturday, losing to Northern State at the BSU Gymnasium in the Beavers’ season finale.
Bemidji State managed a win in the second set, but BSU still fell by a 3-1 margin (25-23, 22-25, 25-13, 25-10).
Hallie Mertz (11), Ashley East (10) and Lauren Sitter (10) all put up double-digit kills for the Beavers, while Hally Holker (21 assists) and Emily Wade (18) split setting duties. Wade also had two aces.
Defensively, Annie Hopp dug out a team-high 16 balls, while Rylie Bjerklie’s four blocks led all.
Bemidji State concludes the 2022 season with a 4-24 overall record, including a 3-17 mark in conference play. BSU finished in 15th place in the NSIC standings.

The Beavers graduate three seniors in Meeghen Dahlager, Rylee Pompa and Hopp.
