Bemidji State to introduce new athletic director Britt Lauritsen on July 5

BSU will welcome incoming director of athletics Britt Lauritsen with an introductory press conference at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, at the Beaver Pride Room within the PE Complex on the Bemidji State campus.

BEMIDJI -- The Bemidji State athletic department will soon introduce its new leader to all of Beaver Territory.

BSU will welcome incoming director of athletics Britt Lauritsen with an introductory press conference at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, at the Beaver Pride Room within the PE Complex on the Bemidji State campus.

The press conference will be open to members of the local media and can be viewed online by the public at nsicnetwork.com/bsubeavers. The university will introduce Lauritsen, who will also field questions from the media.

Lauritsen will officially start as the athletic director on Friday, July 1, as she replaces outgoing AD Tracy Dill. Lauritsen was hired for the position in early May and was one of four finalists to succeed Dill, who announced his upcoming retirement in January.
