BEMIDJI -- A weekend of historic proportions is coming to Bemidji this weekend.

The Bemidji State women’s soccer and football teams are both hosting NCAA Tournament games at Chet Anderson Stadium, so BSU is hosting a community pep rally to commemorate the occasion and cheer on the Beavers.

The pep rally will run from 5:40 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, on campus at the Frederick P. Baker Training Center.

All members of the community are welcome to attend and help celebrate both programs ahead of this weekend’s action.

The soccer team has already won two NCAA Tournament games and has reached the Sweet 16. They’ll next host Emporia State at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, with Grand Valley State and Ferris State also facing off in Friday’s early game. Chet Anderson Stadium will then host the national quarterfinal round at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20, between Friday’s advancing teams.
