BURNSVILLE – Thirty-five Bemidji State student-athletes were named to the 2021-22 Winter NSIC All-Academic Team, the conference announced on Wednesday. Twenty-two Beavers were named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence as well.
To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must maintain a GPA of 3.20 or better. To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, a student-athlete must have a 3.60 cumulative GPA or higher.
For both awards, student-athletes must be a member of a varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at their institution and completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
In all, 758 student-athletes made the All-Academic Team, with 466 named to the Team of Excellence.
Six BSU honorees came from men’s basketball (asterisk denotes Team of Excellence member): *Cody Landwehr, *Wyatt Olson, *Derek Thompson, Dalton Albrecht, Tyler Behrendt and Steele Senske.

Ten hailed from women’s basketball: *Brooklyn Bachmann, *Tori Bott, *Rumer Flatness, *Coley Rezabek, *Taylor Vold, *Molly Wenner, *Claire Wolhowe, Rachael Heittola, Trinity Yoder and Sydney Zerr.
Nineteen came from indoor track and field: *Emily Curtice, *Mary Goodwin, *Alaina Hall, *Megan Judge, *Beatrice Kjelland, *Anastasia Klein, *Maryse Mbenoun, *Ryne Prigge, *Rafaela Rafajlovska, *Kristen Rasmussen, *Amanda Smith, *Abby Syverson, Faith Beck, Analise Fabre, Natalie Fultz, Lily Johnson, Carol Miller, Emma Realing and Aneesa Tucker.
