It was a cathartic feeling when Bemidji State sealed off St. Thomas down the stretch on Friday at the Sanford Center, holding off the Tommies 6-4 despite losing two different leads – one of which was by two goals.
“It was a good old-fashioned ass-kicking,” Bemidji State head coach Jim Scanlan said. “That's what it was.”
The Beavers went 10-3 in 2022, a record indicative of a strong team yet one that probably masks the full scope of the squad’s accomplishments.
