Top-seeded Clearbrook-Gonvick had no trouble advancing into Saturday's semifinals of the East Sub-Section 8A girls basketball tournament as the Bears dumped No. 8 Mahnomen 61-27 Thursday at Bagley High School.
Clearbrook-Gonvick will meet No. 5 Lake of the Woods 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the REA in Thief River Falls as LOW eliminated fourth-seeded Red Lake 68-53.
Angela Burgess paced the Bears with 14 points while Rebekah Kjolhaus had 11 and Jessica Spray 10.
Red Lake was led by Grace White who had 14 points and Averi Holthusen who scored 13.
Thursday at Bemidji State No. 2 Red Lake County Central defeated seventh-ranked Cass Lake-Bena 67-34. RLCC will now play No. 6 Fosston which downed third-seeded Kelliher-Northome 57-46. That game will be 5:15 p.m. Saturday at REA.

Cass Lake-Bena was led by Kandis Davis-LaRose who had 10 points.
Katy Lutz paced Kelliher-Northome with 17 points Tara Evje had 19 for Fosston.
