GRAND RAPIDS -- The Bemidji High School boys golf team claimed ninth place out of 18 teams Saturday at the two-day Grand Rapids Invitational at Pokegama Golf Course. The Lumberjacks carded a team score of 668 after rounds of 343 Friday and 325 Saturday.

Croix Golden led BHS with an overall score of 163 (83-80). He was followed by Bjorn Jorgenson (85-82--167), Noah Burgess (85-82--167), Jackson Sturk (91-81--172), Dylan Hinners (90-82--172) and Michael Tews (93-91--184).

Moorhead won the team title with a team score of 634 (315-319).

The Jacks will be back in action at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, for a tournament at Detroit Lakes Country Club.
