DETROIT LAKES -- The Bemidji High School boys basketball team traveled to Detroit Lakes Thursday night and captured a 53-46 win to cap the regular season.
The Lumberjacks got off to a slow start, trailing 28-24 at the half. However, that didn’t stop the Jacks as they came out in the second half with a heavy response by putting up 29 points in the half while allowing only 18 to close out a seven-point victory.
Bemidji only committed six turnovers all game.
Quincy Wilson led BHS with 12 points while Colten Jensen added 10. Spencer Konecne posted 13 rebounds and four blocks to go with seven points.
Tate Kerzman led the Lakers (11-15) with 11 points.

The win wraps up the Lumberjacks’ regular season with a record of 20-4. They’ll learn their opponent for the Section 8-3A quarterfinals when playoff seedings are announced Saturday.
Bemidji will be without senior Ryan Bieberdorf for the rest of the season. He suffered a broken left wrist in Tuesday’s game against Brainerd.
