BEMIDJI -- Bemidji State’s Jared Henning and Anna Fobbe were named 2018-19 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Honor Student-Athlete Award winners Friday. Individual male and female athletes from each NSIC school were selected for the award.
Henning, a junior quarterback on the football team, was a member of the Fall Academic All-NSIC team in 2018, and was one of 22 members nationally of the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team.
Fobbe, a senior goalkeeper on the women’s soccer team, was selected Academic All-NSIC in 2018, as well as First Team All-NSIC and NSIC Goalkeeper of the Year.
