Augustana, the NCAA Central Region's top-ranked team, backed up its top billing by rolling over Bemidji State 9-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) action Saturday at BSU's Gillett Recreation-Fitness Center.
Augustana swept the doubles matches, then completed the 9-0 victory earning straight-set wins in all six singles matches.
On Sunday BSU lost 7-2 to UMD at the Rec Center.
Britney Greenwaldt and Kelli Christiansen defeated the Bulldogs' No. 1 doubles duo of Brittany Thompson and Katie Bolf, 8-6. The Beavers' second doubles team of Miranda Milless and Caley Westin also won.
Bemidji State, 1-5 overall and 1-2 in NSIC play, will spend spring break in Florida and compete in a series of matches March 3-9.
