MOORHEAD - Bemidji State's Seth Haake is making the most of his final games for the BSU men's basketball team.
The senior scored a career-high 30 points to lead the Beavers to a 79-75 victory Friday night over Minnesota State University, Moorhead at Alex Nemzek Fieldhouse.
The win ended a four-game losing streak for the Beavers (13-10 overall, 7-9 NSIC).
"After the St. Cloud State game I challenged the guys in practice and they responded well," Bemidji State head coach Matt Bowen said. "We were focused, had energy and competed. In the second half with Moorhead came at us and got up nine we didn't cave. Seth has huge. He played like a senior at the end of his career tonight. It has been a pleasure coaching him."
Haake was one of four Beavers to reach double-figures scoring in a balanced offensive effort.

Lance Rongstad returned from injury to score 13 points, Patrick Cassidy 14 points and Bryce Tesdahl scored 14 points.
Andrew VanHavermaet and Jerome Nelson had 18 points to lead the Dragons.
Bemidji State started strong and took a 20-12 lead halfway through the first half before Moorhead rallied to take a 36-35 halftime lead.
Haake had 10 points in the first half for the Beavers and had the hot hand to start the second half.
He scored 19 points in through the first 14 minutes of the second half to push the Beavers out to a 70-63 lead with 6:19 remaining. Haake had a career-best five 3-pointers in the game and helped BSU pull out of a nine-point deficit early in the second half.
Moorhead made the game interesting late and trailed by two points with 15 seconds to play. But Jake Driscoll's shot missed, Tesdahl came down with the rebound and was immediately fouled.
Tesdahl, the No. 15-ranked free throw shooter in the country, hit both free throws to ice the game for the Beavers.
The Beavers wrap up the NSIC weekend Saturday night against Minnesota-Crookston and return home next Thursday night for a non-conference matchup against Finlandia at BSU Gymnasium.
