The Section 8-4A cham-pionship game between Bemidji and Moorhead will be played 7 p.m. Thursday at Crookston High School.

Detroit Lakes and Alexandria high schools were considered by the Section 8-4A officials but they ultimately chose Crookston High School as the site of the title game.

On Saturday the Lumberjacks advanced to the championship game by eliminating Rogers 44-41. Moorhead gained its shot at the title with an 81-57 win over Brainerd.

On Tuesday a pair of area teams will compete in their section semifinals.

Bagley will face Crosby-Ironton at 8 p.m. at the Bemidji State gym in the 8-2A semifinals. That winner will take on either Pelican Rapids or Perham which square off 8 p.m. Tuesday at MSU Moorhead.

Bagley gained Tuesday's semifinals with Saturday's 73-61 victory over Pequot Lakes.

The 8-2A championship game is 7 p.m. Friday at BSU.

Tuesday at the REA in Thief River Falls, Cass Lake-Bena will face Fosston at 7:45 p.m. in the Section 8A semi-finals.

Goodridge-Grygla-Gatzke will battle Fertile-Beltrami in Tuesday's 6 p.m. semifinal at the REA.

The winners return to the REA Friday for the Section 8A championship game.
