The Bemidji High girls basketball team takes the spotlight tonight, hosting Grand Rapids at 7:30 at the Fieldhouse.
The game will ring down the curtain on one of the team's best years in history, one that has seen it post a 22-1 record.
That mark is only two games short of the all time school record of 24-1 posted under Jim Wahl in1992.
That team failed to reach the state, however, a goal that this year's quintet has in mind.
It will mark their second meeting with the Thunderhawks. Bemidji won the first game handily 72-42 at the Rapids in December with Kayla Hirt netting 25 points and Erika Weimann16.

It will be Senior Night tonight with the team's seven 12th graders honored before the start of play.
They include starters Weimann, Abby Hendricks Megan Huseby ,and Kelsey Heisler plus reserves Selina Gilbertson, Caitlin Gangelhoff and Grace Felling.
The Rapids is a far better team than the first game would indicate and is capable of giving Bemidji problems if it is not on top of its game.
The Hawks are 13-9 but were drubbed by Hibbing 82-57 in their last start in a battle for a high seed in t he playoffs.
Four of their losses have come against Twin Cities teams, DeLaSalle, Wayzata, Burnsville and Richfield.
They trailed Bemidji 37-26 at halftime in the first meeting before being blow away 35-16 down the stretch. Jessica Corrick led the Rapids with 15.
Hirt went over the 600 point mark with 26 in the Detroit Lakes win Tuesday and is approaching the 658 she ended with last year.
